Dash won't make it up.

Asked for a number it can't verify, Dash says so — and offers a real way to get the answer instead of inventing one.

@Dash what's the cache TTL on the pricing service right now?

I don't have a reliable source for the live value, so I'm not going to give you a number.

Here's exactly what I can and can't see:

  • I can find the pricing service in the architecture doc.
  • The TTL isn't in anything I have access to — it's set in the runtime config, which I can't read.

I could guess a common default, but a made-up number is worse than none here — you'd make a call on something I invented. Two ways to get the real one:

  • Check the runtime config / env for the pricing service directly.
  • Or I'll draft a one-line question to whoever owns that service and you send it.

Draft — send to the pricing service owner

"Quick one: what's the current cache TTL on the pricing service in production? Need it to answer a support question — want to quote the real value, not a guess."

Say the word and I'll post it wherever you point me.
