The shape · the two lines track closely until May, then billing runs below closed won for four consecutive months, with the gap widening.
Matched 187 of 204 closed won records to a billing record. Here is what the 17 are, because the gap is mostly them:
- 9 closed won with a start date in a later month, so they will bill, just not yet. Legitimate timing.
- 5 billed under a different legal entity name, so the match failed on name rather than on substance. These are matched now and included.
- 3 have no billing record at all and no future start date. These are the ones worth a look.
I have shown all 204 rather than silently dropping the 17. A clean chart here would have been a chart that hid the three.
The three. Same owner?
Two of the three, yes. Both closed in the same week in June, both marked closed won, neither has a signed document attached or a billing record. That is a data quality question or a process question, and I cannot tell which from here.
