@Dash give me the deal snapshot for Brightpath before this call — stage, amount, next step, and where we left off
Dash App 4:21 PM
Deal snapshot — Brightpath Logistics (Finance BPO)
- Stage: Negotiation · Close: Jul 31, 2026 · Amount: $55,000 · 50 seats · New Business
- AE: Dev · SE: you · Next step: Owen to get SVP approval by Jul 10; contract out Jul 7
- Use case: Finance BPO — AP/AR/GL process standardization across 4 countries. Pilot: 30 users / 20–30 documented processes. Steady state: 175+ users. Requirements: enforced step execution, conditional routing, SOX + SOC 2 audit trails.
- Champion: Owen Bennett, VP Finance Ops — owns the internal business case, building it for the CFO and COO
Where things stand
- Two weeks ago — Dev walked Owen through the proposal on a recorded call. Strong reaction. The frame that landed: enforced vs. provable execution — every step done by the right person, with a verifiable trail. Owen tasked himself with drafting the business case.
- Last week — Dev drafted a note for Miles (CRO) to send Owen to warm the procurement contact and help compress the InfoSec review for a July start.
- This week — Sync completed. Owen confirmed the business case is drafted; SVP review is booked for Jul 8. InfoSec pre-read delivered to their team.
The one blocker: InfoSec review normally takes 3–4 weeks before they'll issue an RFP. Owen is running a compressed track with executive air cover — but if the Jul 8 SVP meeting slips, the Jul 31 close date moves with it.
Open items before close
- SVP approval from Owen's CFO + COO (Jul 8 review)
- InfoSec pre-read response — their IT lead is reviewing, expected by Jul 5
- Contract: volume discount on higher-hour blocks approved by Finance; Dev to send Jul 7
- Core pain to stay front-of-mind on the call: only 20 of their 40 daily processes are being completed; 60–70% accuracy; an ongoing BPO vendor transition is bleeding tribal knowledge
